life is better
quick birthday gift for a friend who lives in flip flops all year long.
it's just a pre-primed 1x6 left over from our bedroom ceiling project that i lightly sanded and covered with matte mod podge and a computer print out. i sanded between coats and distressed it a bit. added a picture hanger on the back and the grosgrain ribbon, and gave it a coat of acrylic sealer. she LOVED it and everyone at the party wanted one.

I so love this. The one thing that reminds me of my BFF that passed away in November is flip flops. Kinda choked me up.
